A Level results 2015 – another record year for Abingdon Consortium for Education

Students in the Abingdon Consortium for Education (Larkmead School, Abingdon and Witney College, Fitzharrys School and John Mason) are once again celebrating record A Level exam results.

The percentage of A* and A grades is once more above the national average, with 11% of students achieved at least 3 A* or A grades. At A*-B the figure is 56%, above national average, up 4% from last year and a 10% rise in two years. These results are a fantastic achievement from the students of Abingdon, proof of the consistently rising standards in our community. This year’s A Level results compare very favourably with schools locally and across Oxfordshire, resounding recognition of the high quality of state education in Abingdon.

Well done to students and staff for all their hard work, and congratulations to everyone for their achievements.
